Jeep Wrangler concepts spice up the annual Easter Jeep safari

Springtime is finally here, the Jeep Renegade has made its long-awaited debut in our Kansas City showroom, and the 49th Annual Easter Jeep Safari is currently underway in Moab, Utah.

Several custom Jeep models were created for the annual off-road event in Moab, including the Wrangler Unlimited-based, vintage-inspired Jeep Chief, the emergency support Jeep Wrangler Red Rock Responder, the military-inspired Jeep Staff Car, and the wild-looking Jeep Wrangler Africa.

The Wrangler Africa has the look of a safari vehicle and boasts a torque-centric 2.8-liter diesel engine and automatic transmission. Like other models present at the event, the custom Wrangler also sports off-road ready add-ons like a high-clearance steel bumper, rock rails, and power dome vented hood, in addition to auxiliary fuel cans to extend the mileage range of this desert-ready SUV.

Although this model will likely never see production, we will soon see a diesel-powered Wrangler, which is an option already available for the Jeep Grand Cherokee. If you'd like to give one of our available Jeep Wrangler models a test drive, visit our 6640 State Avenue location in Kansas City, KS, located five miles east of the Kansas Speedway.
