EV & Hybrid CDJR vehicles in Kansas City

Future of the EV/Hybrid at Victory CDJR

The future is bright and full of more environmentally friendly Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and RAM vehicles such as EVS, hybrids, and plug-in hybrids. Electric and hybrid vehicles provide benefits for both the individual driver and the environment as a whole thanks to their fuel-efficient design. In terms of the individual benefits of driving an EV, drivers can save a lot of money on operating and maintenance costs. As for the environment, electric and hybrid vehicles significantly reduce emissions and therefore create a safer and healthier environment for everyone. At Victory Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM, we are excited to welcome these new electric and hybrid models so we can provide more environmentally conscious options for drivers in Kansas City, Topeka, and Overland Park.

The Future of CDJR EVs

At the moment, the goal for the year 2030 for Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and RAM is to have more than 40% of their sales be from low emission vehicles in the United States. They plan to achieve this goal using four new platforms of electric vehicles. Three of the four are unibody platforms in sizes small, medium, and large. The other platform is for more heavy-duty vehicles such as trucks and rugged SUVs and features a body-on-frame design.

It's understood that an electric Chrysler model should be arriving relatively soon. Chrysler has not released specific details, but they have recently shown a plan for an electric vehicle that resembles both a sedan and an SUV. We are still awaiting the release of more detailed information about this EV, such as its capability, but we can expect to learn more in the near future.

Fans of the classic 1960 Chargers will be excited to learn that Dodge has previewed an electric car that looks to be similar to the iconic Charger. It is apparent that this upcoming Dodge EV is designed for drivers who prefer a muscle car that has an impressive performance.

Jeep has recently announced plans for the new 4ex which is a plug-in hybrid Grand Cherokee. They have also hinted towards plans to make an all-electric Wrangler in the future. In other news, Jeep has also announced that they will be installing Level 2 charging stations in designated areas over the next 12 months. These areas include famous Jeep Badge of Honor off-road trailheads around the United States. Due to this announcement, it is safe to assume that Jeep has even bigger plans to create more electric and hybrid models to give Jeep fans a variety of environmentally friendly options.

In exciting news for fans of the RAM 1500, RAM has just announced plans to have an all-electric version of this best-selling pickup available as soon as 2024. This is a big deal for those who need a more heavy-duty vehicle but still wish to make a transition to a fuel-efficient model.
